First off this is a Great Site
Way too much to read in the first week for a poor old Mississippi Redneck

I was looking to build a Digital game cam but with all the reading I discovered I'm very lost in this game .
Are they a newbe guide out there somewhere if so how can I find it?
I'm looking forward to building my first game cam.

Thanks
Jeff

Welcome to JHP. If I can offer 1 piece of advice it would be to build a basic 35mm camera with no-timer ,nothing fancy just a plain old camera.

They work great and it will help you understand the rest of the add-ons for your next one

Start adding timers, refresh pulses, digital cameras and security features then they get quite hard to comprehend on your first camera.

just a thought

I've gotta agree with Davered1, walk before you run.. (I'm crawling, and loving it...)

scroll to the top of this page
click on the Jesse's page and gear review, click game cameras, then homebrew.
Pick you a camera and sensor type.
read, read and reread. Parts for everything is listed.
i use the owl pf, radio shack sensor, and the pelican case.
Some of these cameras and sensors are getting harder to find.

DJeff,

Welcome to the page.  Where in MS are you from?

Like you, I'm in the process of building my first cam.  Here are a couple of the guys' links that have helped me:  Jon's Low Power MS20 modifications
Gary's page

All of these guys do a great job of helping us newcomers and it's greatly appreciated!
