I know this is going to break some hearts in here that Cindy is gone from FHL. I got an email from the new lady at the FHL check in window. Her name is Rannie and she seems interested in helping to provide better customer service.

Anybody been to FHL lately? How was the check in?

Welcome Rannie too if you're reading our forum here.

All the time I had gone to FHL, I never had a problem with Cindy. I still do not know what the hoopla is about. All I saw was she did not put up with incomplete paperwork once you are in her counter. I guess I am more forgiving than others when it comes to hurt feelings. Anyway, she was there for a long time & it reminds me of the long, long time that I have been going to FHL. Anyway, there is always room for improvement, including me, for sure. Just glad, FHL & its spectacular scenery is still available to us average Joes for enjoyment. 'Nuff said. larrysogla.

I never had a problem either, but I know there were problems and many complaints, and in some cases, there seemed to be some kind of vendetta against some of the memebrs here on JHO.

larrysogla, the problems with Cindy were know far and wide and well documented here. It took about 4 years for me until it was my turn in the barrel. Just be glad you never had to deal with her on ONE of those days.

All this talk about FHL has started an itch (don't even think about it, Rancho). Anyways, how about a pig/turkey JHO hunt?

I'm game for a combo Turkey/Pig hunt. Let's start talking dates. Are you thinking Fall or Spring Turkey? The Fall season runs Nov 13-Nov 28 and the Spring season runs March 26-May 1. Also, any interest in putting together a JHO Quail hunt at FHL?

BTW-I've had great customer service from Cindy over the years. She was alway very helpful and polite dealing with me and my hunting partners. Thanks Cindy

Cheers
Foo'

English,

FHL is Fort Hunter Liggett or Hunter Liggett Military Reservation, southwest of King City. It's training grounds for various branches of the military and they allow hunting on the base.

Hi Jesse & everyone! Thanks for the positive posts in here. A few hunters and the game warden told me there was something about me in here so I had to check it out. Wow, a whole topic on me! LOL! I'm the new girl Rannie & I emailed Jesse on my 1st week of work at FHL Check-In Station. I've never been hunting or anything like that but got hired on my customer service skills from a previous job that dealt with the public. Anyways, I ran into this website when I did a search on FHL Hunting and was surprised that Jesse and some hunters felt that way about their previous service at the window. I've been working there 3 weeks now and love it. My co-worker John has been great and is trying to teach me more about hunting. And all of the hunters I've met are really nice people who make me like my job even more.

I know I'm not a hunter but I am really interested in it now that I've heard stories and have seen the excitement in everyone. Obviously, I want to learn more so that I can be more helpful that's why I'm here. Thanks to all the support! Hope to see you guys and gals at the window!

Thanks,
*Rannie*
