Newbie advice on gun ranges? Where?

Hey, just looking for someone to steer me in the right direction. Live in OC and commute to San Bernardino, need advice on the best outdoor rifle range

that is nearby and public?

There is an outdoor range in Highland / Redlands area. It is called "Inland ...." It is on Boulder off of Baseline off of the 30 freeway. Get off on Baseline, turn towards the hills, turn right on Boulder, about 3 - 4 miles on the left. They service both rifle and shotgun. I shoot there.

There are two outdoor ranges in Lytle Creek, one in Myers Canyon, just north of the 15, and the other is all the way at the end of the Lytle Creek road, ( a lot of dirt road to drive). The Myers Canyon range is as good as any other range, and pretty convenient.

the best one is Burros canyon in Azusa, North
of Irwindale speedway.

its the best and cost 10.00$ all day

I was going to suggest the San Gabriel Valley Gun Club (Some called it the Fish Canyon Range) I just discovered it closed 11/5/06 not to re-open.

I've been out of circulation too long due to a family illness. I didn't even know this was happening.
