Went up with the wife to drop the trailer off for deer season and decided to see if any hogs were around. Sat and watched a grassy bowl until about 20 minutes before the end of shoot time. I started heading back to the truck and I could see my wife frantically trying to get my attention. With it getting dark I couldn't tell so as I got closer she said a single hog went through the brush towards where I was sitting. So off I went back up and just caught a glimpse of him heading towards the bowl. I made it to a knoll and spotted him walking away at about 80yds. With 8mins left of shoot time i let one fly. After a short tracking job we find him...lots of sausage!
