Out calling coyotes I spotted some hogs working the creek bottom and well so much for coyotes, made a long stalk to within 80 yards and put the 22-250 to work. Young boar dropped dead in his tracks and then all hell broke loose, about 20 pigs busted out of the brush going every direction...:rotflmao:

That's a perfect sized eating pig. There's salami in there, a few brats and a bit left over for the crock pot. Congrats!

That country looks like E - NE of Madera, CA. Not asking to give anything away as that is not going to put anyone on the private land but I'm be interested it that is the right "direction". ???
