Duck nicknames keep me and my hunting buddies going during the slow times of the day one of our favorites are for the shoveler we call them “Hollywood’s” or “woods” what are some of yours Duck Nicknames that you would like to share.

We have a relatively new hunter in our blind that calls everything he sees "mallards" so to tease him we call all the ducks "Dave".

Now the ones that we shoot at and don't hit, well, lets just say Jesse has a rule against using that kinda language on his forum.:surprised-purple:

I have called spoonies by many names, but here are a few:

Widebill, Hollywoods, Retarded Mallard, Spoonacho, Nachos, Sir Nachingtons.  Yep, I've got a lot of free time on my hands at my blind.

#1 spoonie Mallard in drag
#smec one of the guys was talking on his cell phone and started calling Spec's (Smec's)
#3 Ruddy duck (butterballs)
#4 Mallards ( Mallet's)
got a few more but not up on them right now!!
