What happens now when a Washington Redskins fan where's the old school logo out, will they be ridiculed and shamed by social media and the public.
I hope the Minnesota Vikings team name is politically correct or they r going to have to change it to Minnesota Minotars..... lol....tra

Hang onto that old hat and jacket. It's going to become valuable.

It really doesn't matter to me because the NFL is dead to me. But, why stop there, Libs? Why not go the full route and change everything that offends your fragile little minds? Why not go after the Cleveland Browns? Isn't that an offensive reference? What about the Cincinnati Reds? Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Oakland Raiders refers to violence by their namesakes. San Diego Chargers could promote poor spending habits. The Indy Colts is sexist because it doesn't reference fillies. The Philadelphia Phillies doesn't reference colts. The Dallas Cowboys only refers to males and not cowgirls. Where is the stopping point? Or is there even one? The Washington Redskins caved on their name because they are cowards. The NFL wants to be a Liberal sounding board and I hope they all have empty stadiums for their effort.

How about the Washington Peanuts, then they could use the name Redskin in their advertising?

Professional sports is dead in this country.
The folks that love the games and the tailgating are getting old and dying, cutting into the NFL and NBA's revenue. Wearing the t-shirts and kneeling is pandering to the young "social warrior" crowd who want their products flavored with the "eco/social issue" of the day. It makes the "social warrior" feel like they are somehow contributing, and makes their otherwise useless lives meaningful.

It's straight up marketing to increase the revenue of the owners and the organization as a whole. Once you realize that the players are simply entertainers in a failing business, professional sports loses it's appeal. It's kinda like cheering for IBM...not so much.

What these entertainment companies don't realize is how fickle this new crowd is. They'll turn on you faster than a rattlesnake. The only loyalty they have is to themselves. I predict the NFL will eventually go the way of boxing, pay per view. And the NBA is a wholly own subsidiary of the Chinese Communist Party so they'll probably all move to Wuhan.

Personally, if I wanted to spend my money and wear a company logo to support a team, I'd probably get a SpaceX jersey. At least I know they're doing something worthwhile. It's certainly more entertaining than watching a bunch of self entitled millionaire felons spit on the very people that made their lifestyle possible.

NFL=No Felon Left behind
