I'm kinda reading into this that Non-rsidents must buy a full year hunting license for a hog hunt. Am I missing something or is this infact the correct assumption? It looks like 108 bucks for the license and 50 bucks for the tag. Does that sound about right? There is also a 2 day hunting license but it cannot be used for hog hunting. Kinda Odd to have a 2 day hunting license offering but withhold it from hog hunters! Am I understanding this properly?

That is correct...

You need to kick down for the annual tag (1-year) in order to purchase or apply for big game tags in California.

I think the 2 day is like for Ducks or upland birds possibly a Squirrel hunt.

Or if your ever just wanted to take your gun to the woods (or desert) to shoot, I was told you better have a license on you!!!!

Even at the full year license and new $50 tag fee it's a great deal compaired to whats going on out west on other hunts.

Arizona and Alaska will be goen up next year !!!!

Where you going to hunt JJ?
