NorCal Monster Blacktail Skull

This deer locked up it's antlers while making a rub and never freed itself. Found just the skull with antlers about 3 ft. off the ground and still stuck in the tree. 1 coat spray paint on the skull, 1 coat of oak finish on the antlers, and 1 coat of gloss over everything.

What made it even better is that I got the idea of painting it all nice-like to give as a token of appreciation to the land-owner who has allowed me permission to hunt his property. I just gave it to him and I'm pretty sure it is the biggest one he has now.

Very cool. YOu're a better man than me, giving them away. Whatever keeps the gate open though right? I like the Oak finish. I think I'm gonna try that.
