Wow! Great Pics. Thanks for sharing with your neighbors to the south... Which means almost everyone.

I have only seen the lights one time in AZ. About 8 years ago. Nothing like your photos, but interesting nonetheless. I though it was a forest fire behind the mountain about 10 miles from here. Later on the news I heard a story about people in Utah and Colorado who reported seeing them. Well I got them Beat... I was in East Mesa, AZ.

Thanks again!

Thanks for all the comments. I really enjoy sharing my pics, but sometimes think most people don't want to see stuff on here unless its hunting. I also enjoy hunting, but we all know you can't hunt every day of the year. I recently had some northern lights pics turn out really good. Might post them pretty soon.

Thats to cool, those are some great pics. I always thought the northern lights were more colorful, am I wrong, or is that something all together different?

Thanks for the comments again. Evan III, the northern lights can be seen in a wide variety of colors, but is most often green when it is seen. I will post some more pics I took recently with some red color in them.

MCinIL, I am in the Air Force and stationed at Elmendorf Air Force Base. We have a few lakes on the back of the base and thats where those pictures were taken. I go where I can make it to when the lights are out. I have driven as far as 3 hours north of here before to get some pictures. Just gotta look for clear skies when the northern lights forecast looks good. Thanks for the comments on the pics.
