BIG GAME STATUS BOOK AVAILABLE
The annual Big Game Status Book that gives topical information about big game herds may now be purchased for $10 at Nevada Division of Wildlife (NDOW) offices.
Information for the books was compiled from annual aerial surveys conducted by NDOW biologists. The surveys look at the number of animals in herds and factor in the affects of weather and habitat conditions from the previous year. Population estimates and trends are developed with this information.
NDOW offices are open weekdays, except state holidays, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
