Anyone have one of these or notice this. The gun is a 20 ga and has a modified choke. I realize the need for closer shots with the 20 and also with children but isn't this pushing the limits a bit, or am I missing something? Sounds like a good gun for heavy shot.

I'll have to check out the one I got.

I won it last March. Stuck it in the safe until the kids get a little bigger.

Never even noticed how it was choked.

I would suggest that you bring it to gunsmith & have it tapped for interchangeable choke tubes. The barrel should be thick enough to have it threaded. I would imagine that H&R used the Mod. choke to help reduce recoil on a youth gun. You could install a full choke & if the recoil is to bad try a "slip on", or have a Decelerator installed if it increases the length of pull too much.

I don't have one yet, I was looking at them in Turkey Call and saw that they had a mod choke and that threw me for a loop. I probably would have it worked on if I got one.
