Well, I am 16 hours from departing on my first javelina trip, and it cannot come fast enough. All packed up, directions ready, cut some travel'n cd's, and now the fun begins. It seems that the weather is not going to be as favorable as one would like. Temps are expected in the high 70's, so movement may be down to a minimum. However, just being away, in a new place, with good friends is good enough. Dont get me wrong..I am still gonna stick something.
I was so jacked up yesterday that I went to try out some new arrows at the range from 20. My first 6 shots were a foot high. One Track says, "what pin are you using?" I said, "the lowest." He said, "Hey Joe, the highest is your 20 yard pin."
OH YEAH!
Needless to say, he was getting a little nervous. But after nearly convulsing from laughter, I calmed down enough to sight in okay. Everyone have a great week. Hopefully I will have pictures to post next week.
