This was a little while ago but here are a couple of pigs that I took on a ranch just outside of the Parkfield area.

I came through this barley the first day and heard the pigs but couldn't see them.  It was too thick and the barley was about waist high.  The pigs knew that I was there and were taking short sprints in various directions trying to find (get?) me.  I was carrying a scoped Winchester M70 in .270 which wasn't going to do me much good at 20 yards in this thick stuff so I backed off and came back the next day.

The pigs were still holding in the exact same area but this time I had a shotgun and a .44 Redhawk on my hip.  The same routine ensued with the pigs taking short sprints in various directions trying to find me.  Finally they (4-5 of them) busted out of the longer barley up a small hill into a shorter patchy spot.  I got off two quick snap shots at about 20 yards and ended up with two of the smaller (70 and 80lb) pigs.

Have fun at Tejon in May!
