Some of you may remember me mentioning an old tractor that is way back in the timber that I hunt last year, and that I couldnt find it. I thought that someone had recovered it for restoration purposes. Well, I went back out there this morning and located it. It was difficult to shoot because of all the sapplings around it. This is the best shot of all that I took. It's an International Harvester.

That is pretty cool. Personally like the effect of that second pic a little better, looks like a little like something I did way back in high school in photography and graphics art classes.

I agree with wtnhunt, I like the B&W a little better too. That's a cool subject to photograph though. Looks good with snow built up on it too.

Thanks Chris and rydtime, comments appreciated.

And rydtime get that cam out and start shooting, and read and reread the manual, shooting and reading the manual is the way you will learn.

Tutorial please

... with pictures, lol.

Thanks for the explanation H&W, it looks like a duotone... I'm wondering if doing that creates smaller files than a duotone conversion.

I have no idea Paul, I just learned after doing it this way the proper way to do a duotone from Old Jim..LOL... I thought that I was doing it right, but not. Then theres the quadtone, which he has shown me, and I really like it. I posted a old bridge I did in quad.

Thanks cowboy for the comment.
