I decided to do a camera upgrade from the Kodak Z740 point and shoot to a digital DSLR. I chose to purchase the Olympus Evolt 510 2 lens kit (14mm-42mm, and 40mm-150mm lenses). Here is what I consider my first keeper shot so far. I really haven't had much time to spend with the camera since it arrived, mainly indoor shots. I am very pleased with the camera and a bit overwhelmed with all I have to learn. Comments welcomed.

Congrats on the new camera Hideandwatch! The cats nose on the right looks a little hot, but not too much... it is a nice picture for it being one of your first will a DSLR. Learn to shoot using manual exposure with the other camera settings set to neutral, you will be happy you did

Congrats on the new dSLR Hideandwatch, I've had mine for a little over a year now and am still learning it. Take lots of pics with different settings to see how work relative to each other. Most of all - have fun doing it - thats what its all about.

I think you made a good choice, I recently replaced my E 500 with the E 510, and I am very pleased with it.
