Just goggled "1 ton hog", Wow, I didn't realize the ugly story behind this fake.
Looks like it's been talked to death (old news). Funny how it is/was on yahoos front page today with a 100% real statement.
i hunted this property for years and know the land owner. He drinks like a fish, his brain burnt with whiskey.
He drinks so much he does not remember in the morning where he is, sometimes he cannot get to the house and sleeps on the ground.
The dog you see in the vid name is Bella. One time i came and she was not there. He says a bear killed her but some guy told me that he ran it over with his ATV while he was drunk and even did not remember it.
I saw what they are talking about, everything he has done himself to attract idiots in search for Bigfoot.
So, i called the publisher KRCR to express my opinion about that.
Long story short, they gave me to understand that they do not care who this Ken (his real name is Konstantin Sokolik), how much he drinks, what the real reason is and what if it is truth or not, the only thing they are interested that some one is going to read it and create traffic
FWIW, feral pigs don't get over 300 often. And very rarely over 350-400.
A Barr hog is a domestic boar that had his balls cut off. They can get up to 800 lbs.(maybe bigger.. Not sure though). A few months ago I read about a couple guys catching a live Barr hog that was over 700 lbs. come to find out, it had gotten loose from a farm 5 miles away about a year before that. Then there are also domesticated farm raised pigs that can get really big also and escape into the wild.
And for those who don't know feral pigs in America are a mix breed of wild Eurasian hogs that came over with the settlers and domestic pigs. Some have more Eurasian characteristics like the razor back and a more muscular look. And some have more domestic pig characteristics.
I don't think it's actually photoshopped, although it might be. Most small digital cameras these days come with a wide angle lens. In bright light with a small aperture/f-stop, the photographer gets as close as possible to the pig and puts the hunter as far as possible behind. The fishermen started doing that first.
