I just got the Feb issues of Northwest Sportsman magazine and I found out that as of Jan 1st, all white sturgeon in both states are now measured by their fork length. From tip of snout to the fork in the tail fin.

From Jan 1 thru Apr 30, from the Columbia estuary up to Bonneville Dam and including the Dam pool, keepers must have a fork measurement of 38 to 54 inches.

Most might know about this, but lots of people I've talked to don't even know this at all. Mostly the old timers. Please be advised and tell others.
