Was thinking about order my new lead free ammo from the Bass pro website and don't see that option. Someone else mentioned that they had ordered ammo from the website.

I double check, I still don't have that option. When I run a search, I get results not found.

Is it a regional thing or doesn't BP sell ammo online? Cabela's and Midway does. I wanted to place the order and do the in-store pickup. It seems they're always out of stock when I get there. And of course, nothing about in FAQ.

I don't really shoot that much to justify reloading. I've got the equipment and all and used to do alot of it but can't seem to find a range that doesn't cost an arm and a leg and tank of gas.

I'll probably go with midway, though they seem to be a little more expensive than cabelas.

Did you ever see Alan at Vandenberg? They can order it for you and just pick it up and use the range there. I missed him by about an hour. It was good meeting you. Maybe we can do a hunt sometime.

No, I missed him as well. I'll probably order from cabelas or midway, at least that way if something goes wrong, I've got wiggle room. Got up to the top of 3 and it was windy, as expected. Didn't really see much. Finally packed it in sunday, the next door campers partied again till 4 am and I'd had enough. Did get my mount and its reaallly good.

Meeting you as well, probably won't be able to make it out until the deer season. Those dates are still a moving target.

I'm trying to stock the most popular flavors so any input would be appreciated. I can't stock everything; Services won't let me spend that much, but I can cover most of the bases. I'm not going to get .250-3000, or .35 Whelen, for example.

Here's a link to the ammo page on basspro. I don't see any federal premium anymore. I don't what's going on with that.

My friend and I have been ordering from able ammo lately. They've been great so far. $41.29 for 30-06 165 and 180gr. I like how they lay out the ammo by caliber too. Here's a link

http://www.ableammo.com/catalog/default.ph...480_14658_14743[/b]
how odd, when I got to the above BP link, I see that ammo. When I go to the website on my own, I don't get to see black powder or any ammo options at all. Any ideas.

I don't know, maybe you can try clearing your browser cache. Also, if you run Internet Explorer, try firefox or vice versa. Maybe check on another computer if you have access to one.
