• The folks from the Sacramento Wildlife Care Association will discuss caring for injured birds during a Sacramento Audubon Society meeting at 7 tonight at the Shepard Garden and Art Center, 3330 McKinley Blvd.

• Discover how climate change has affected the birds and mammals of the Sierra at a lecture titled "Surveying the Sierra: Then and Now" by zoologist Jim Patton at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 27.

SNAG SOME TROUT



Drop your hook into a stocked Howe Pond on Saturday at a Fishing Derby hosted by the Fulton-El Camino Recreation and Park District as part of the California Department of Fish and Game's Fishing in the City Program.
