Outdoor Oklahoma Partners with MyOutdoorTV.com

State's Hunting, Fishing, and Conservation Show Available 24/7 on Internet TV Network

Nashville, Tennessee- The Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation is partnering with MyOutdoorTV.com to offer its Outdoor Oklahoma television series to a broader audience. The agency's show is now being streamed through MyOutdoorTV.com, the world's largest internet video portal for outdoor television shows, radio, video, and conservation information.

Based in Nashville, MyOutdoorTV.com is a powerful new forum developed to promote hunting, fishing, wildlife watching, and natural resource opportunities across the country. The Oklahoma agency joins MyOutdoorTV.com in its special section within the site called "State Explorer ," which provides video from various states and links to each state wildlife agency. The section includes weekly programming, educational videos, safety instruction, wildlife and waterways law enforcement information, and other useful materials. Hunters, anglers, and boaters can even purchase licenses through MyOutdoorTV.com.

"We're proud to be cooperating with MyOutdoorTV.com to offer Outdoor Oklahoma to anglers, hunters, and wildlife watchers, not only living in Oklahoma, but outside of the state as well," said Rich Fuller, Production Supervisor with the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation.

According to Fuller, for more than 30 years, the mission of Outdoor Oklahoma has been to showcase the Sooner State's hunting, fishing, and wildlife watching opportunities. Because the show is produced by the state wildlife agency, it not only features, for example, a family enjoying a day of fishing on an Oklahoma lake, but also includes an interview with a fisheries biologist who talks about the fish population for the specific lake and the best fishing times, baits, and techniques.

"A big part of our show is to highlight the activities of our wildlife professionals, but viewers are also going to see plenty of great fishing and hunting action, video footage of Oklahoma's unique watchable wildlife species, and of course, the beautiful landscapes of Oklahoma," said Fuller.

Shows and materials provided by the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation will also be included and available for search on the home page of MyOutdoorTV.com by species, activity, location, or other keyword, so search results will include Outdoor Oklahoma shows. The new affiliation with MyOutdoorTV.com will allow on-demand, 24/7 viewing worldwide by anyone with a high-speed internet connection. Viewing is always free with no registration required.

"Since 1976, we have broadcast Outdoor Oklahoma continuously throughout the state," Fuller continued. "However, with each of our past episodes now being available on MyOutdoorTV.com, it will really be convenient for our constituents who aren't able to watch the show during its normal airtimes. We particularly want to get the word out to all of our Oklahoma servicemen and servicewomen stationed abroad. It's because of their defense of our freedoms that we are able to enjoy the outdoors here at home."

MyOutdoorTV.com will include Oklahoma's affiliation in marketing activities for the site, including TV, radio, print, and online advertising and promotions.

"Oklahoma's wildlife agency has produced many years of great programming for its state, and we're pleased to be able to extend the reach of its show to our audience," said Chris Moise, CEO of MyOutdoorTV.com.

MyOutdoorTV.com is the world's largest internet portal for outdoor TV programming, currently streaming over 140 shows on the shooting sports, fishing, boating, and other outdoor activities. In addition, it hosts radio shows, outdoor videos, the new "State Explorer" section, MyOutdoorWiki, and sections for outfitters, destinations, cooking, outdoor news, and much more.
