I bought the last Sure shot owl PF Date our Target here in Illinois had. Clearance priced at $42. Not too shabby.

Not to bad , I bought an old one off Ebay slide switch infront the black cam for 30.50+ 6.00 shipping , if I had the op I would have spent the extra money.

I cleaned out the Hampton Virginia area this weekend. Got a couple at Target for the 42.88 and a couple at KMart for 49.99.  KMart really tried to sell me a One year replacement warrantee for $5.  Mental giant behind the counter couldn't understand my reluctance to buy a replacement guarantee on an item that they stopped making!!!

I havn't been back this week, but I have some "extra" cash earmarked for another one.....or two.  Maybe extra isn't the right word. I think it should probably be money my wife will let me spend!

Last week I bought the last one they had at our Target. I was there on Monday, and the had three more on the shelf, still on sale for 42.88. I guess they may have a few more than we think they do?

My guess is what you see is what you'll get -- from here on in!  Neither KMart nor Target was able to do any re-order from their suppliers.  Good time to go into hock a bit to put them on the shelf.  I've been phoning the Targets and KMarts out 50-60 miles to try to find another couple, and no luck.

They have lowered their price by $7.00

Electronics E-Mall

They show none in stock but they will backorder.

They also have the PF non date for $31.99
Snappy LXII (no date) $22.99

Bought one Sunday, $38.05 inc tax. Only had that one.

If anyone has a K Mart closing in your area check it. Good luck!

What seems a bit odd around here is that the price is steady at $49.95 or higher with $69.95 the highest i've seen locally. Maybe we have driven up demand for them. :hammer:

I've been watching this site for sometime now and I have finally gotten up the nerve to attempt my own "Homebrew" deer cam. I have searched far and wide for the Canon Owl PF, and the best price I've found is at http://www.ritzcamera.com for $39.95 + S&H. I've checked all of the obvious (Walmart, Kmart, Target etc...) and no one could beat this price. What does everyone think of the preassembled board sold at http://www.fieldpix.com??? I think this is the way I'll go for my first one. Anyone have any experience with these?

I made that mistake whitetailfan , that cam for $39.95 at ritzcamra.com has no time/date  stamp feature. :toothless:
