along the aqueduct east and west of 14 you may find some ground and birds? As long as you're on county ground, you should be able to hunt!
The Frazier Park area, have several canyons where hunting is allowed, Apache, Ballinger, Santa Barbara Canyons, forest lands, blm, Carrizo Plains would be a short drive for you!
Like most of us, you'll need to start spending time driving around to look for birds and ground open to hunting, and maybe if you do some homework, property owners may extend permission?
Bouquet Canyon used to be available, but, its mostly private!
If you don't have one? Get a socal topo map book, it's well worth the money spent! "DeLorme"
