I have to wait for the late news to see. The wife said the afternoon/evening weather girl was reporting nasty stuff along I 10 on the way to Blythe. Looking at the weather on line it seems a big unsettled area from Mexicali to Yuma south might help to keep the remaining birds from winging it that way....or maybe not.
In my area of Palm Springs it spit a little and the wind kicked up quite a lot of dust.
Unless the weather reports on local TV are wrong, Blythe was hit with a lot more than a gully washer. They reported several inches of rain with the storm that rolled thru. By the time most of us get to do a little last minute scouting, I'm hoping the roads will have dried up.
At least I like to fish.
