My nephew brought 1000 mixed batch of chicks for turning loose at 8 weeks.
Seeing lots of hens only few chicks so far.
Hoping for better year then last year with the fields being to wet to combine.
Still a day of hunting is better then a kick in the butt.

I’ll be heading to The Hills to shoot a whitetail and then on to the Winner area for birds this fall. Can’t wait!

Yuo are always on it Warren Nelson, keep us posted on conditions as the season nears.

First part August, I think they do the first road counts to see amount of pheasants per mile. they got 4" of rain some area's so that means more bugs.

Good new he got a straight run of Hens. 1000 should be a good rebound on numbers. The Ones that are 3 weeks old ones are already flying short distances.
few got out and was caught.
