Don't mean to rain on your parade, but isn't it a bit late to get info? As I understand it, once paid for, you can't back out of it. Hope you and your brother the best of luck in this.
Never to late to ask questions. Also, purchased through an SCI fundraiser so it was a good purpose.
If I had information, I would share but I don't. Good luck on your trip bpn. Let us know what dates you are going. I am headed to RSA for a safari in July. I am really looking forward to it!
The hunt wasn’t bought totally blind. A friend of a friend hunted with them before and he had a good time/hunt. I was just wondering if anyone here has hunted with them.
Life’s too short not to try new things. A bad day hunting is still better than a good day at work.
bpn,
I also bought a hunt at our local SCI dinner and we had an awesome time. And now have become good friends with the outfitter and talk weekly. So, go and have a good time. These guys are trying to build clients in local chapters,so word gets out,so they are usually willing to go the xtra mile for ya!And SCI dinner cordinators usually pick the donors that have a good record for the auction. If by chance you don't have a good experience, tell you local chapter president and write a letter to SCI and they will exempt them from their donor's list.Or you can go on SCI's hunt reports and check the outfitters company and see what members have said.Good luck and remember the donation goes to a good cause...
