Pig huinting in Santa Barbara

We'll be heading out to Rancho SFR for quail later this month.
The pricing for pig is $200 guide fee and $200/$300 for the pig- at least this is what Bill told me.
I do most of my pig hunting in late fall- winter months, after it cools down.

What does it cost to hunt quail on Rancho SFR?

Deer--- $1200
Pig----- $400 <250#/$500 >250#
Turkey $350
Quail/dove-- $110 min 3 hunters
Squirel shoot out-- $40

I was there the end of Oct and we got 15 quail. Saw a lot of turkey, pig and deer
They will start pig after quail season ends.
They won't advertise and you need to schedule in advance.
I got in with a friend of mine that has an "in".


I talked with the Ranger at the Ranger Station on Paradise Road last week- No hunting in the valley- it is a Receation Area- except on the ranch.
There is deer hunting outside the bounderies.
There is pig lower down- sometimes you can find one up out of the bounderies.
