Pig Hunt

A buddy and I leave Friday for a hunt this Saturday with Camp Five Outiftters out of Santa Maria. This is the hunt my wife bought me for our 5 year ann.

Any suggestions on a place to take the meat? I have looked into Bree's in Garden Grove and Phils in Grover Beach. I live in Norco so Bree's is closer but my parents still live up in Santa Maria so I may leave the meat in Grover at Phils. I hear he makes great sausage. Any other suggestions?

I will post back after the trip. Several friends have used this outfitter with great results. I hope I have the same luck. I don't want a trophy just a meat pig. This is a first for both of us on hogs.

Good luck. I have used Brees 3 or 4 times with good results. Let us know how you do.

Good Luck to you this weekend. I shot a good size sow up in King City about 2 weeks ago. I usually take my pigs to Brees Meats, Since he does a great job. I took this one there as well and let me tell you. It was FANTASTIC!!!!! I had a BBQ on Sunday and had about 15 people over. We made Ribs, Chops and Link Cajun Sausage.....They couldnt believe how good it was. Try Brees, I dont think you will be disappointed.
