Pig Hunting - Fairfield CA

I was watching Fox 40 news last night and they told a story of a 800 pound domestic pig, actualy pet pig being shot and killed that had escaped its pen and wandered off private property and into an area where hunting is allowed.

I'm guessing its a private hunting club or private land. But does anyone know if it is a Club or if there is public land there to hunt?

I went through that area years ago looking for a place for my Dad and I to turkey hunt. I was only able to locate one land owner that day and she told me that most of the ranches in that area are leased by hunting clubs.

I know of a hunting club out there but was told all the pigs where gone

the pig was killed on private land not on a club and there is no public land around there its all private with alot of vinyards
