The only one I can think of in that area is the Carrizo Plain. It's like most public land hunting. A lot of hard work and some luck will turn up a pig or two. Talk to the lady at the Goodwin visitor center. She lives there and usually has a idea of where the pigs are when they wonder down from the Caliente's. If you don't find pigs there's plenty of rabbit, quail, and varmint hunting.

I've had a few deer hunters tell me there are a few west of Greenhorn Mtn. around Cedar and Alder creeks. I don't know if it's tru or not, Ive never seen any sign of them. Does anybody else know for sure? I usualy deer hunt D8 and it would be nice to think I could combine the two.
