I was discussing my desire to learn to hunt on another forum (ok, so I'm a two-timer) and they mentioned scouting for hogs in my neck of the woods.

Now, I spent a LOT of time in the LPNF a decade or so ago and never saw, heard, smelled, or anything when it came to wild piggies. Have they finally migrated into the southern LPNF areas? OR are they in the D zone up in Cuyama?

Or is someone pulling my leg like the wild turkeys that are supposed to be in there which I've never seen or heard nor has anyone else I know.

They (Wild Pigs) are on private property right off of the 33 before you get into Ojai. All private property though and they wont let you hunt them. Real big population to. There are lots of Turkeys in LPNF. Just got to get out and scout them.
