Pigs in the Owens Valley?

DO any of you know if there are any hogs in the Owens Valley near Independence? I am going up there for deer, zone X9c, and was wondering if I should take my hog tags.

Not the kind that you would want to load up in your pickup, field dress and take home to....a... consume.  I could give you a list of bars you might try for the other kind......I don't think you need tags either....just shots....hronk
