Got to Pine Flat this morning after dropping the kids off at school. When I first got there, it was just raining.....but after an hour, the snow started to come down. It was coming down pretty hard too. In about an hour or two, the whole place was covered in snow....the trees, trails, grass, shrubs, and so forth. To make things worst, my newly bought waterproof boots got soaked. So much for being waterproof LOL. I think they were really waterproof, I was just soaking wet so it soaked down to my socks and got the inside of it really wet. Anyhow, my brother and I were determined to get to our hunting spot to see if any pigs would come out to play in the snow. After an hour of waiting and hiking around, we figured there wouldn't be any pigs out. By this time, it was still snowing pretty hard and all we could see was just snow all around and above us. Being wet and cold, my brother and I decided to head on back. Got back down to the car at 2:30pm and guess what, the snow stopped and it started to clear up. Being drenched and all, we didn't feel like taking another hike up the hill again. The pigs got lucky today but we'll be out trying to put a copper in them again sometime soon. It was still a great time to be out despite the cold and snow. By the way, I didn't see a single deer around. Not even sure if there's any where I'm hunting.

Don't know why you are constantly saying that. First of all, I didn't go into the chat room because I didn't have time. Secondly, you had on a very weird outfit for your avatar, which was very discouraging. If you are still going to use that against me....then so be it.

Anyways, if anyone wants to know how pine flat is....it's currently covered in snow. Hopefully it'll melt in a couple of days.

Flatbroke, with an avatar like that, I'm afraid to look at you....even talk to you on the chat lines. Scary! I will simply wait for others to respond.

I don't think it was not going to the chat room... Maybe this statement had something to do with it though.

Bigworm, did you happen to see the avatar when I wrote that? Again, I won't go into details about his avatar. Well if others have remarks like that to make then I will simply stop sharing my good/not so good hunting adventures then. :wavin hello: So much for sharing!!!!!:mad-fumin-red:

Bigworm saw it my Hog hunting brother. I know because it was his face I pasted atop of the body. As a teacher of our youth I would think you would be more open minded. Just my opinion though.

Bret I did see it and thats what makes it so funny. It was a joke towards me. It was actually a picture of my face on that body. Him and another JHOer did it as a joke. Many that have seen my posts, recognized it was my face. They got the joke. There were some other avatars that were similar at the time.

Instead of seeing it as funny, you evidently took it as Flatbroke being twisted in some way.

It is not about you sharing. Everyones contribution good or bad, big or small is important here. It's people just like yourself, and your posts that make this forum.

It's about you turning down help when it was offered. Not to mention help from an acomplished, successful hog hunter. I would be offended if I had tried to help, when someone asked for it, and then they said no I will wait for someone else.

I posted that picture as a joke against bigworm without his knowledge or consent. I did not mean to offend anybody nor did it break the law. The only people I feel the need to apologize to are my sister and Jesse(the owner of the site). I did not mean to cause Jesse any grief or my sister any embarrassment.

That being said. the picture did not break any laws and as a teacher of our youth as you claim to be I would expect you to be more open minded. I offered to help you with your question in a previous thread, not because I like you but because we share a common love/ desire.

My offer was more than likely spawned from my roots, upbringing etc which also contributed greatly to my profession. But none of that is neither here or there because you chose not to accept. that is your right and I appreciate that.

I thank you for you contribution to this site and encourage your further participation as it is what makes this site great. Carry on.

Flatbroke.
