A friend just bought a universal pix board and asked me to help set it up. I've never tried these boards. There were no operating instructions with the board and I couldn't find it on the website. I did find the info on where the common, shutter, power is in the phone jack.

I don't think it has the chip for a p32, it wont respond, but I think it might be in test mode, the green and red led's light up when tripped.

I am at a loss for how to get this to work for him. The camera wiring is fine everything tests ok.

Thanks for any advice!

wapiti, look on the pix website, click on the "universal board" on the left side and also on the "Manuals and How To's" under "products". This will open up to the manuals for the universal board.

whats the cam doing when connected to the board and hows it connected.
via what hookup or connector?

are you sure you have it wired to the baord correctly. are you using hard solder stereo or phone jack connections?
