More to follow this weekend. I have to go out of town for a couple days then I'll get back to PPing my 600 shots!!(Man that 4Gb card really paid off this weekend!)

Wow!! you went!! I was almost going Sunday and had to change plans. We used to goose hunt right off the depature end of Chino and it was a treat to see all those WWII fighters take off.

What was the static display like? Any MIGs? Did you see any Navy F4U Corsairs? The inverted wing WWII fighters?

We saw a B-17 heading north over Tejon last week Friday the 12th, while pig hunting. We figured it was coming from Chino and headed north for an airshow. Both engines rumbling all the way

They said there was a MIG, but I didn't see it. There were 2 Corsairs.

Don't remember seeing any Mig's....

There was a F-86F......

Trent, I went to my first vintage airshow last year and I'm hooked. Seeing the old prop planes running around, doing mock battles is very cool. Hearing the old engines roar is something akin to listening to a hot rod that is carburated instead of fuel injected. The jets really wow the crowd, but these old planes have a special place too.
