Is Photoshop a free program????[/b]

Yeah if you have the 5 finger discount

No, it's not free. I got my "Adope PhotoShop Element 4.0" from best buy. With the sale they had and the mail-in rebate I paid about $35. I think it normally goes for about 100 bucks for the 4.0 version

This is Photoshop 7.0, and if I remember correctly it set me back around $300.00.

I was gonna get the 7.0 version and decided to get the 4.0 because if I didn't like it I wouldn't be out a whole lot. There is so much to learn and so little time. Once I have 4.0 figured out, I'm moving up in the world to either 7.0 or CS2.

I hear ya R9H...I dont know squatt about PS 7.0, I can resize and do the bright/contrast and of course auto color and auto bright/contrast. I was instructed on how to do the one I posted here just for fun. My friend has had it for a year now and barely knows some of it. The only editing that I have been able to do that was simple is in the kodak easyshare software. It is mostly auto editing with some tweeking allowed.

Hideandwatch, this is a cardinal sitting on a tree limb in front of blue sky I'm guessing? PS can turn anything into almost anything else. I use Photoshop CS and havent even scratched the surface of the possibilties. Nice creative work!
