This year is shaping up to be one of the best duck producers ever in my area. Plenty of rain has made cover thick for the hens to hide and water is everywhere. We might see a generous comeback of our beloved greenhead. Double hatches will occur this year. Im anticipating the best duck season in years for the locals(mallards and woodies). Hopefully the pintail are also finding more favorable conditions up north than in years past. Its nice to see Ma Nature being so generous to our feathered friends.
