Pole catcher

This was in Bremen just after Christmas. These three guys are taking down the big poles that held the decorations, or are they really entertainers, they seem to be really drawing a crowd. The three of them would lift the STEEL poles out of the hole then tip them over and the young guy would catch them. Oh man it was funny, what was hardest to believe was that the old guys managed to keep a straight face...

Oh man, every time I look at that picture I laugh, maybe its one of those 'you had to be there' things.

Imagine that fellow with his hands in the air hurriedly backpeddling as the pole swings down and the others lose control. He would catch them with both hands and a shoulder. If he was on soft ground he would be hammered knee deep!

They looked real heavy, it took all three of them to hoist them onto their cart.
