I've got 6 species of rabbits in California listed on my webpage. DFG says there are 7 species. What's the seventh?

MOUNTAIN COTTONTAIL RABBIT - Sylvilagus nuttallii
DESERT COTTONTAIL -Sylvilagus audubonii
BRUSH RABBIT - Sylvilagus bachmani
WHITE-TAILED JACKRABBIT - Lepus townsendii
BLACKTAIL JACKRABBIT - Lepus californicus
PYGMY RABBIT - Brachylagus idahoensis

snowshoe (lepus americanus)
European (oryctolagus cuniculus)

The later was an introduced species and is thought to have been eradicated.
