[TD="class: post-content, width: 83%, bgcolor: #F9F9F9"]I have a Contender in 7mm TCU with a 10" bbl. To me, it seems like the best powder would be one that burns completely before the bullet leaves the barrel. So, can I get some ideas on which powder will be the best in a short barrel like mine. I will be using a 120 gr. bullet. To my way of thinking, it would be a lighter load of faster powder but, I'm not sure if that thinking is sound. I will be hunting deer and antelope with it so I need a load that will give top, or close to top velocity (and of course accuracy) in a 10" bbl. Thanks for any and all advise.

Thanks Freezer - I have some IMR3031 powder on hand and it looks like it might do well also. I think I will start there and see what it will do.
