As part of its year-long 20th anniversary celebration, Powder Valley will feature a special outside showing of Fly Away Home on Friday, July 15, 8- 10 p.m.
KIRKWOOD, Mo — The dream of teaching geese to fly takes flight in the Academy Award-nominated film Fly Away Home. The Missouri Department of Conservation's (MDC) Powder Valley Conservation Nature Center in Kirkwood is taking the film to the outdoor screen.
As part of its year-long 20th anniversary celebration, Powder Valley will feature a special showing of Fly Away Home, starring Jeff Daniels and Anna Paquin, Friday evening, July 15, from 8-10 p.m. The movie will play outside under the stars, accompanied by a soundtrack of crickets and katydids.
