Hi all

I am currently buliding a T-cam , using a Kodak ES470 AF ( $14 at Wal-Mart)
I have a stack of Digi cams but they all have Auto Shut Off so they are useless
for this project, and I really don't want to use my Bronica SQ-A camera as a T-Cam :)

The Kodak I got has a mechanical shutter button so I am going with the Solenoid design
for this, I used the designs I found on Jesses site ( Thanks for a great site )

Ok so now down to my questions, I could build the timer I need for the delay
but I have no means of making PCB's right now so I would like to buy 2 timers
( I am making 2 T-cams ) any one here that can build two for me, if so what would it
cost me ? and how long would it take ? I want to get my cam's up soon since the
Archery season starts shortly here in CA. ( D3-5 )

On Jesse's site he is refering to PIR's that I can't find anywhere on the web
I understand that some info on that site might be a bit old and therefore not
valid anymore. Any one know of a PIR that I can get at Home Depot or Wal Mart ?

Thanks a bunch !!

There are two PIR's available.  The ms20 from wal-mart and one from radio shack.   do a search for brians timer.  It is an anvanced microchip timer with 5 delays, counter, and many other features.  I think he gets $35 for them complete or you can get thechip for $7.25 and the etched board for $10 and build your own,  $2 more worth of parts.   Look in the "helpful Homwbrew links" at the top of this forum page for the link to his document that explains all the features.  The document also has pictures on how to modify the PIR's to work with his timerboard.

Welcome to the forum
