We scheduled a hunt with All Seasons for their "self guided hunt". This hunt included a "guide" that would drop us in the hunt zone and pick us up when done, and overnight quarters that was the old Priest Valley School room.
We met with the guide and settled in- the accommodations were nice (4 bunks to sleep 8, sofa, TV/DVD and kitchenette- no stove, BBQ and camp-stove outside). Shower and restroom. Electricity was from a generator. (bring your own gas) Like I said-- nice- except the generator would not start in the morning, no water (pipes busted), the dishes and utensils were left dirty from the previous party.
We piled into the guides truck for the ride out to the ranch- partway onto the ranch the truck over heated and we had to hike the rest of the way to the hunt zone.
I asked the guide about the area and if he had scouted ahead- no-- he had not been on the ranch for a while, but it had not been hunted so there was no pressure on the pigs.
We hiked all over the ranch and saw a lot of old sign- no pigs anywhere- the sign was all old-- several weeks old.
After leaving we left a message with the person that set up the hunt to talk with him concerning the facilities and lack of pigs- no response.
