Problem with the flash in pics

I finished my first camera and put it out last week. It took the whole roll in one night. I have a small problem though. The flash is bleeding over into the picture. I have the lense surrounded with a piece of
foam molding. It looks like it seals pretty good.
My question is....I used a single piece of plastic for the lense and the flash...is it possible that the flash is traveling through the plastic...like fiber optics???

Yes it is possible. I did this with my first cam and had to redo it. Now with two seperate pieces of glass it works just fine.LOL

yea buddy!!!  i placed a post on lense problems...same problem great seal around lense.. but darnit still bleeding ...hmmm!!!  i cut into 2 pieces and filled area betweem the 2 with some door insulation stuff..crystal clear pics.....i have a pi of before and after on thepost just click search lense problems...youll see and some rsponses too...thanks keep flashin...steve holloway
