I went on the Pursuit today to Catalina. The 65 foot boat is roomy with bunks and a good size galley. It runs out of 22nd street landing in San Pedro. We left the dock at 6 AM and after getting plenty of healthy anchovies we headed over to the East end of Catalina for a wide open Barracusa bite with a bunch of Calico Bass mixed in. There were also a lot of sheephead and misc fish. We saw a lot of yellowtail but the barries wouldnt let them get a bait. It was kinda neat to see a big Bald Eagle come down right off the stern of the boat and pluck a nice Calico Bass right out of the chum line. Good boat and crew. Good Fishing.                      Fubar
