QDMA National Convention Features World-Class Auction Items

Expect to see hundreds of attention-grabbing items available in several live and silent auctions during the Quality Deer Management Association's 9th Annual National Convention and Whitetail Expo, July 23-26 in Louisville, Kentucky.

Friday's Hunt Auction Luncheon will kick off the weekend's auction events. During this annual luncheon, dozens of top-notch hunts will be available to the highest bidder responding to auctioneer Dale Dodson's entertaining calls to the crowd. Wildlife art, hunting gear, and management tools are among the items up for grabs at the silent auction.

The Grand Banquet and Auction will occur Saturday night. Convention goers, seminar speakers, whitetail industry celebrities, and QDMA members will come together for dinner and the chance to bid on an exceptional line-up of once-in-a-lifetime hunts and trips; beautiful artwork, namely, pieces by Larry Zach and Jay Kemp; firearms; and management equipment. By way of live and silent auctions, gun boards, and raffles, attendees will have the opportunity to take home some great products, including a full array of Dolmar power equipment.

Among the selection of hunts up for auction over the course of the weekend are several white-tailed deer hunts ranging in location from the famed Grigsby property in Illinois to hunts designed for youth in South Carolina. A black bear hunt in Canada, a tar hunt in New Zealand, and a four-species African safari are just a few trips in the international category. For something a little different, attendees can bid on the trophy alligator hunt in Florida or the bass fishing outing in Missouri with Alex Rutledge of Hunter's Specialties. Additionally, several Kentucky game tags are available, including elk, deer, and turkey. And one lucky bidder will be able to hit the woods in a new Ruff & Tuff 4X4 electric hunting vehicle with custom QDMA exterior.

In addition to spectacular auctions, raffles, and games, QDMA's National Convention will include two days of seminars and research sessions from the nation's noted deer experts and researchers, a two-day Expo featuring over 100 exhibitors and celebrity presentations, plus exceptional live entertainment.
