The San Gabriel Chapter of Quail Unlimited will have its annual banquet Saturday, March 22, 2003 in Arcadia.
Our Chapter is active in improving water sources primarily in the Angeles National Forest. We construct, on average, 5 new Guzzlers each year. We also maintain over 50 guzzlers, in Southern California. Many of our members are active quail and chukar hunters. Three times a year we organize quail hunts. In the Spring we hold our Gundog Showdown to see who has the best hunting dog. Each summer we sponsor a Snake Brake Clinic to train dogs for snake avoidance. We have a Habitat day, usually on the 3rd Saturday of each month where we do habitat improvement. We are always looking for new members so if you are interested, stop by a monthly meeting.
Our monthly meetings are on the second Wednesday of each month at Triple B Clays, 831 Rosemead Blvd. South El Monte. at 7pm. We have BBQ's every other month April-October at 6pm.
