Hi there, I had a question about bear tags in California. Are bear tags all the same for the all the zones or do you have to buy a tag for different zones. Also is there drawing for bear tags in Shasta and Trinity Alps area. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you

No special zones for bear. There's no draw for bear, you can get the application for any retailer just like deer, then mail it in to DFG and your tag will be sent to you. There's no limit on how many tags are sold, just on how many bears are take.
