Question for any N. Dakotians

I have been offered a chance to Elk hunt N. Dakota on a private Ranch.This for me would be a dream hunt.If lagit.The Ranch supplies the tags,lodgeing,ect...I plan to bow hunt,but was told to bring a rifle in case no close shots were offered.Can one switch like that on a private ranch legally?Second,For a back up i would rather use my in-line muzzleloader.Are the in-lines a legal primitive weapon in Dakota.Ive checked the DNR web site and couldnt find the infon there.So im asking any North Dakota hunter out there for some answers
