Hello, I haven’t been out there for a couple of year, but when I was the hog sign was limited in the areas I went. Granted I was riding my motorcycle and not hunting, but we did cover a ton of ground. I did ride up on a couple of really nice bucks a couple weeks after the season closed. If nothing else it is a cabin to stay in close to some productive public land deer hunting. If I remember correctly there is a pond they had planted with trout where the kids were fishing, a trap shoot and some sort of a horse show that one weekend. Every time I’ve been out there (4 or 5) I have had a good to great time, but I wouldn’t consider the hunting prospects like some of the ranches in the area.
You have to buy in for $5000.00. Yearly assessment nearing $1000.00. You hunt elbow to elbow with the guy next to you. And if you find a buck to shot, it never fails some yahoo comes by at a 100mph on their MC or ATV and scares it off. Go buy a WU membership, you're better off. As for pigs, there aren't any as they need water to survive. The main creek going thru the ranch is called dry creek. And for good reason.
